    Abstract
The enhanced oil recovery is utilized to increase oil recovery factor from reservoirs. Among different oil recovery methods is the miscible CO2 injection that is applicable for high pressure reservoirs. Once this gas is injected, it becomes soluble in oil. With that, oil viscosity drops hence the movement increases with aids in increasing the oil recovery factor. This thesis identifies a list of reservoir characteristics and operational conditions as important during miscible CO2 injection which are reservoir porosity, reservoir permeability, formation dip angle, and distance between CO2 injector well and oil producer well. A regression model is proposed for assessing oil recovery factor for reservoir with light oil, low formation dip angle, and low reservoir permeability. It is deduced that reservoir porosity plays the most critical role during the miscible CO2 injection in comparison to the other three parameters. Various scenarios and sensitivities are developed and discussed in this thesis.
