Abstract: This research deals with bottled water industry in the State of Qatar and its trade as well. Testing its quality by comparison with the public water is another goal. Moreover, the study of the consumer behavior and attitude is one of the study main goals. The study depends on two kinds of data, primary and secondary, such as consumer's questionnaire (440 respondents), and factories survey, in addition to samples of water to be examined. The study reached many results such as; that the bottled water has become a new source of water in Qatar because the consumers seeking better quality of water especially for drinking and cooking uses. Therefore, the market of bottled water is increasing enormously. The study showed also that the national factories of bottled water in Qatar are sharing with around 60% of the market demand which is almost 90 million litters per year and they export part of the production to the regional countries. According to the samples which were examined, the quality of the bottled water is much correspondence with the public water in the country and both water found drinkable according to international and local standards with some variations in their chemical characteristics. But, the prices of bottled water are very high compared with the public water. Finally, the authors present some recommendations to improve and develop this new source of water, such as encouraging the local manufacturing of bottled water because the prospects for competition are available, so both the country economic ana the consumers will be benefiting by such policy.
