dc.description.abstract The paper develops a method of analyzing tubular induction accelerators based on the finite element technique. The method takes end effects (due to current discontinuities at the rotor edges) into consideration. The performance is predicted for both air and iron cored tubular accelerators. A manipulation is given to reduce computation time which give& acceptable results. en_US
