Description This article is a survey of the printing art in the Arab world in general, and Egypt in particular. The first, and still the most important Egyptian printing house, is the BiiUiq Press, which was founded in Cairo by the Wali (Viceroy of the Sultan of Turkey), Muhammad 'Ali (1805-1849).
