'This study aims at exploring the problems that face educational supervision from the supervisors' perspective in the light of the following variables: supervisors' sex, qualifications, experience, and their interaction. In order to collect the data, a questionnaire developded by the writer, covering the economic, administrative, technical, social and personal aspects was distributed among the subjects who were 76 supervisors ( 47 females and 29 males). Multiple ways of variance, factor analysis, and Tuke's test were used.
The study hypothesizes that there are no statistical differences
among supervisors' perception of supervision problems such as economic,
administrative, technical, personal, and social factors.
This study revealed that the supervisors, with a ratio ranging from 57%-96%, agreed that there are problems hindering the educational supervision in Al-Hassa District in the economic, administrative, technical, and social aspects, regardless of the experience and qualifications of the supervisors. The females felt these economic problems more than the males. Supervisors whose experience is ten years or more believe more strongly than less experienced ones that the economic factor constitutes a greater problem. |
