Short survey of techniques for visualizing events recorded in logs

Abstract

Nowadays, data is being generated in large volumes and the users are left with a staggering amount of textual data that needs to be transformed into information to derive some knowledge from it. However, transforming and analyzing textual data is difficult. In this paper, we present a short survey of some popular visualization techniques for data extracted from logs and some interactive features that can be endowed on these techniques to enhance their usefulness. ? 2017 IEEE.
