Abstract | A novel analysis of effect of frequency shift on the characteristics of the electromagnetic field distribution inside a simplified jet engine model is provided. The simplified jet engine structure is modeled as a metallic cylinder and is simulated using a stepwise stationary blade rotations. The rotation of the blades provides necessary randomness for the medium. The frequency shift introduced by the blade rotation is emulated inside the engine environment by varying the excitation frequency. The characteristics of the electric field values are analyzed at different operating frequencies to analyze the effect of frequency deviation on the field magnitude and phase. |
