AbstractThis study aimed to develop and test a model that incorporates insights from two distinct approaches, namely, behavioural and contextual factors, to identify the significant variables influencing the entrepreneurial intention of undergraduate students in Qatar. This research involved a sample of undergraduate students enrolled in Qatar University. Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire containing several groups of questions related to behavioural and contextual constructs and entrepreneurial intention. Results show that personal attitude and perceived behavioural control are the most significant factors for entrepreneurial intention. This study is the first of its kind in Qatar that aims to assess entrepreneurial intention from more than one approach. The research implications are discussed. 2019 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.
