AbstractA novel low profile two elements array of circular patch antenna is designed, analyzed and simulated for wireless sensor applications in extremly harsh environments like jet engines. The designed antenna is simulated using 'Ansys Designer 2014'. Due to the environmental constraints, the antenna is designed to be extremly thin and flexible. The size of the antenna is small enough to have a reliable radiation pattern. The simulated characteristics of the antenna is really promising for the future fabrication and implementation inside jet engines. 2015 IEEE.
