    Abstract
Entrepreneurship activities draw the attention and support of today's leaders, who recognize their importance in constructing a robust economy that can compete in a highly dynamic marketplace. The research highlights the role of the entrepreneurship ecosystem (EE) in the State of Qatar by mapping the entire system and its key members and their roles in supporting the activities of entrepreneurs. Furthermore, it illustrates the gap in the process of EE practices and indicates ways to improve it. This study uses qualitative research methods with an exploratory strategy that builds in individual depth interviews as a primary source of data. It provides an in-depth analysis of the current EE and a complete picture of the Qatari EE. This study reveals exclusive findings that while the government provides the necessary resources, the members within the EE seem to duplicate efforts. In addition, commercial regulations must be developed to accommodate EE's expansion. There is a need for a mechanism that unites prominent members under one umbrella and aligns their objectives with the growth of the Qatari economy. This study recommends the development of supportive culture as a new domain of EE in Qatar in order to foster a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurs.
