Abstract

This book is about integrating business process improvement and management information system approach to analyze, redesign and automate a program or process in an organization. The main goals of this approach are improving business efficiency and effectiveness, reducing times and costs, decreasing errors and defects and increasing reliability of the system. This holistic approach starts with Business Process Management (BPM) and process improvement and continues with the information system analysis, design and development.
