Abstract | A Simple channel modeling method based on correlation analysis of the electric field inside jet engine is presented. The analysis of the statistical propagation characteristics of electromagnetic field inside harsh jet engine environment is presented by using `Ansys® HFSS'. In this paper, we propose a method to locate the best position for receiving probes inside jet engine with minimum correlation between the receiver points which have strong average electric field. Moreover, a MIMO system correlation characteristics inside the jet engine with different inter element spacing of transmitting antenna is analyzed and propose a method to find the best positions for both transmitting antennas and receiving probes. In this proposed method, the correlation properties of the MIMO channel are modeled by using two independent correlation matrices at the transmitter and receiver and neglecting the correlation across the link between the transmitter and receiver. |
