الملخص | This research aims to understand and validate the factors affecting the use of e-learning and its consequences on the employees’ performance within organizations. The COVID-19 era highlighted the effectiveness of e-learning. However, findings of relevant articles are inconsistent. Therefore, a meta-analysis is conducted to examine the validity of corporate e-learning antecedents and outcomes within the framework of DeLone and McLean Model (D&M) & Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Twenty-five studies were selected to analyze the relationships proposed by the D&M and TAM framework. The findings concluded that all relationships studied were significant with the relationship between user satisfaction and e-learning adoption and use having the highest effect size. The results call the attention of corporate and decision makers on the importance of technological, organizational, and individual factors identified to positively enhance e-learning adoption and utilization. The main limitation of this study is the exclusion of moderators that may affect the main relationships examined in this meta-analysis. Future research needs to include moderators such as the position level of the employee and years of experience. |
