AbstractThis paper considers the problem of velocity consen-sus in autonomous vehicles using a cloud-based Model Predictive Control (MPC) approach. A centralized structure is proposed to gain the most possible computational potential of the cloud to find the best optimized solution for the MPC. The proposed controller is implemented on the Amazon cloud servers. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed methodology.
