Abstract | Colorectal cancer (CRC), a leading global cause of mortality, is strongly influenced by gut microbiota, which affects disease progression and treatment response. Our research investigates the impact of gut dysbiosis on the efficacy of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, suggesting the utility of microbial profiling for early CRC detection and prognosis. We explore interventions including probiotics, prebiotics, and dietary changes to rebalance gut microbiota and enable personalized treatment strategies. Furthermore, we assess the integration of intratumoral microbiota analysis with artificial intelligence to enhance treatment precision, aiming to improve patient outcomes and reduce CRC incidence and severity through personalized care approaches. |
