Event-triggered fault detection for networked control systems subject to packet dropout
Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of fault detection for discrete-time networked systems subject to packet dropout under an event-triggered scheme. The packet dropout has been modeled as a Markov process and an event-triggered scheme is proposed to reduce the signal transmission over the network. A dynamic parity space fault detection is designed to generate a robust residual signal using an optimization index for the parity matrix and an adaptive threshold is used to overcome the limitations of static thresholds. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 1 2017 IEEE.
