Fault tolerant control strategy of a five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor drive
Abstract
This paper deals with fault tolerant control strategy of a five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive. The fault tolerant control enables the machine to operate without additional hardware during post fault condition. The solution is to keep an unchanged MMF under open circuit fault by controlling currents in healthy phases. 2015 IEEE.
