Engineering economics: Literature review and recommendations for practitioners
Abstract
The paper provides a review of the curriculum and pedagogy of engineering economics course, which is normally taken by engineering students of different disciplines. Literature reviews of studies and courses syllabuses on engineering economy are analyzed, and trends are classified into a number of categories. The review is concluded with final remarks and a set of recommendations. Some useful resources are listed in an Appendix.
