Abstract | A lubricant is a substance introduced to reduce friction between surfaces in mutual contact, which ultimately reduces the heat generated when the surfaces move. The lubricating property of lubricating oils is increased by dispersing nanomaterials. In this study, 0.25 wt%, 0.50 wt% and 0.75 wt% of garnet nanofluids are prepared by two-step method of nanofluid production and the existence of garnet nanoparticles, chemical elements and structure of garnet nanofluids are estimated by FTIR analysis. |
