Performance analysis of cooperative communication system with feedback delay and channel estimation error
Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the impact of feedback delay and channel estimation error (CEE) on the performance of wireless multi-user decode-and-forward (DF) relay systems in independent and non identically distributed Rayleigh fading channels. To assess the performance, we derive the exact probability density function (PDF) expression of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for each link, and the average outage probability expression with imperfect channel state information (ICSI). Numerical results are presented to confirm the analytical expressions and to investigate the effect of the ICSI on the performances of the wireless cooperative system.

Diversity-multiplexing tradeoff for log-normal fading channels
Nouri, Hatef; Touati, Farid; Uysal, Murat ( Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. , 2016 , Article)Although there has been a growing interest on the study of diversity-multiplexing tradeoff (DMT), the existing works are mostly restricted to the outcomes reported for Rayleigh, Rician, and Nakagami fading channels. In ... -
A Comparative Secrecy Study of Flying and Ground Eavesdropping in UAV Based Communication Systems

( Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. , 2019 , Conference Paper)In this paper, we study the strictly positive secrecy outage probability (SOP) and the ergodic secrecy capacity of a wiretap unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system where a UAV transmitter (Alice) is trying to send a message ... -
Iterative compressive estimation and decoding for network-channel-coded two-way relay sparse ISI channels
Nguyen S.L.H.; Ghrayeb A.; Hasna , Mazen ( IEEE , 2012 , Article)We propose an iterative compressive channel estimation and decoding scheme for network-channel-coded two-way relay sparse intersymbol interference channels. The underlying system model comprises two source nodes and one ...
