Abstract | We read, with excitement, the important and timely paper titled ‘‘Genetic and functional analysis of Raynaud’s syndrome implicates loci in vasculature and immunity’’ that appeared in volume 4, issue 9 of Cell Genomics in September 2024.1 This manuscript was indeed a brave and commendable effort aimed at identifying potential loci implicated in the onset or pathogenesis of Raynaud’s phenomenon (RPh).1 While we acknowledge the importance of most of the findings, we nonetheless have a few comments that we believe redirect the potential impact of the findings and, more importantly, the trajectory of the research that may be based on this study. |
