    Abstract
Pharmacy education has a very important role in determining the quality of pharmacists who will work for society in the future. There is a great need for revolution and innovation in pharmacy education and training. Pharmacy colleges must shift the education paradigm to align with the evolving role of the pharmacy profession. A well-rounded student is shaped by the quality of the college, the environment of the college or university, the curriculum, and the effectiveness of the teaching style and strategies. Education and learning are built from various philosophies, theories, and models. The appropriate learning strategies should match the students’ preferred learning modes. It is necessary for all educators and trainers to be aware of these different possible learning styles and to try to accommodate as many of them as possible when planning their instructional programs. This chapter provides an overview on the different theories, models, and strategies in pharmacy education.
