| Abstract | يسعى هذا البحث إلى دراسة الصورة في الكتاب المدرسي من منظور سميائي في دولة قطر، لتحقيق أهداف رئيسية أهمها: الكشف عن أهمية الصورة في الكتب المدرسية، ومدى مساهمتها في تعزيز عملية التعلم لدى التلاميذ. وقد عملنا إلى إجراء تحليل سميائي لصور كتاب الصف الثاني الابتدائي، للوقوف على مدى كفاية الصور المعتمدة فيه. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يسعى البحث إلى تمكين المعنيين بتصميم المناهج من استخدام أدوات تحليل الصور بشكل يتناسب مع المرحلة العمرية المستهدفة. هذا، ومن أهم ما وصلنا إليه من نتائج نذكر : الصور في الكتاب المدرسي ذات أهداف واضحة. . تعبر الصور عن مواقف إنسانية واجتماعية مثل احترام كبار السن، تقديم المساعدة الاهتمام بالبيئة مما يساهم في تعزيز القيم الإيجابية لدى التلاميذ. تسهم الصور في تحفيز خيال التلاميذ وتطوير مهارات التحدث والكتابة. . تتضمن الصور قيما ثقافية قطرية مثل المحافظة على التراث واللباس التقليدي. . تحفز الصور الجانب العاطفي لدى التلاميذ، مما يعزز ارتباطهم بالمحتوى التعليمي. اعتماد الصور كأدوات الربط المفاهيم الجديدة بالمفاهيم المعهودة، مما يسهم في تطوير مهارات إنتاج المعاني. تعزز الصور مهارات السرد من خلال ترتيب الأحداث وتسلسل الأفكار بشكل منطقي، مما يحسن قدرة التلاميذ على السرد في التحدث والكتابة. وأخيرا، لقد قدم البحث نموذجا مثاليا لتطبيق أدوات التحليل السميائي على الصور ضمن دروس التحدث والكتابة التعبيرية، مستندا إلى أفكار رواد النظرية السميائية مثل تشارل ساندرس بورس ورولان بارت. وقد تم توضيح كيفية تطبيق هذا المنهج بشكل عملي في العملية التعليمية، وكيف يمكن أن يساهم في الانتقال من مستوى الوصف البسيط إلى فهم أعمق للمعاني والمفاهيم والرسائل الثقافية والاجتماعية والدينية التي قد تحتويها الصور. |

| Alternative Abstract | This research aims to study images in school textbooks from a semiotic perspective in Qatar, with the goal of achieving several key objectives. These include uncovering the importance of images in school textbooks and their contribution to enhancing students' learning processes. The research also aims to conduct a semiotic analysis of the images in the second-grade textbook to identify the strengths and weaknesses of these images. Additionally, it seeks to equip curriculum designers with tools for analyzing images in a way that is appropriate for the targeted age group. The research yielded several findings, including: - The images in the textbook have clear objectives. - The images convey human and social situations, such as respect for the elderly, offering help, environmental care, which contributes to reinforcing positive values in students. - Images help stimulate students' imagination and develop their speaking and writing skills. - The images reflect Qatari cultural values, such as preserving heritage and traditional clothing. - The images stimulate the emotional side, strengthening the connection between students and the content. - At this age, students tend to use images as tools to link new concepts with familiar ones, which helps in developing skills related to meaning production (speaking and writing).- Images enhance narrative skills by helping students organize events and ideas logically, improving their storytelling abilities in both speaking and writing. Finally, the research presents an ideal model for applying semiotic analysis tools to images in expressive writing and speaking lessons. This model is supported by the ideas of prominent semiotic theorists Charles Sanders Peirce and Roland Barthes and illustrates how this method can be practically applied in education. It demonstrates how this approach allows for a transition from simple description to a deeper understanding of the meanings, concepts, and cultural, social, and religious messages that images may contain. |
