Abstract | Thank you for your thoughtful comments on the article “International consensus on research priorities in hypospadias using a Delphi study approach.” [1] We appreciate the opportunity to address some of the points you raised. First, regarding the geographic representation of the participants, we would like to emphasize that the 121 respondents in the initial scoping review reflected a broad geographic distribution. This approach ensures that the perspectives of professionals from various regions, including those from low- and middle-income countries, are adequately represented. While the panel's composition was based on expertise in hypospadiology research, rather than patient management, we took great care to consider how different cultural, genetic, and healthcare system factors might influence research priorities. This inclusive approach was designed to capture a broad array of insights into the field, ensuring the consensus is as globally relevant as possible. |
