AbstractThe International Association of Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups (IADPSG) estimates the prevalence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) to be 14% worldwide. Of those with GDM, 30% to 70% have early GDM, which is diagnosed before 20 weeks of gestation.
