| Abstract | يهدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن أثر برنامج تدريبي قائم على الاستقصاء وحل المشكلات على الأداء التدريسي لمعلمي العلوم، واستكشاف أثر التدريس وفق البرنامج التدريبي القائم على الاستقصاء وحل المشكلات على مهارات حل المشكلات لدى الطلبة. كما سعى البحث إلى استكشاف فيما إذا كان هناك عالقة ارتباطية بين الأداء التدريسي للمعلمين ومهارات حل المشكلات لدى الطلبة. بلغ عدد أفراد البحث الحالي 8معلمات علوم بالمرحلة الابتدائية في المدارس الحكومية في دولة قطر، بنسبة )50) % تقريبا من أصل 17 معلمة ممن حضرن البرنامج التدريبي، لقياس أثر البرنامج التدريبي على الأداء التدريسي في مهارة التخطيط وتنفيذ وتقويم الدروس. كما شارك في البحث الحالي (205) متعلمين من طلبة الصف الرابع بواقع صف دراسي واحد لكل معلمة. تم استخدام استمارة الملاحظة الصفية لقياس الأداء التدريسي لمعلمي العلوم قبل / وبعد تطبيق البرنامج التدريبي القائم على كيفية التخطيط والتطبيق ألنشطة التعلم القائم على الاستقصاء وحل المشكلات. كما تم تطبيق اختبار قبلي/ وبعدي للمتعلمين لقياس مهارات حل المشكلات |

| Alternative Abstract | The current study aimed to investigate the impact of a training program based on inquiry and problem solving on the teaching performance of science teachers. Also, to explore the effect of teaching according to the training program based on inquiry and problem solving on students’ problem-solving skills. In addition, the study sought to explore whether there is a correlation between teachers ’teaching performance and students’ problem-solving skill. Participants of the current study consisted of (8) primary school science teachers in public schools in the State of Qatar which represents approximately (50%) out of 17 teachers who attended the training program to investigate the effect of the training program on the skills of planning, implementation and evaluation of the lessons. In addition, (205) studentss from fourth-grade participated in the current study, one class for each teacher. The researcher used the classroom observation forms to measure the teaching performance of science teachers before and after the implementation of the training program based on how to plan and implement inquiry-based learning and problem-solving activities. The researcher applied a pre-post test for the learners to measure the problem-solving skills. The researcher used the descriptive statistical methods of calculating the averages and standard deviations of the teaching performance scores of teachers in the classroom observation questionnaire and the Paired t-test were used to compare the results of the problem-solving test in the pre and posttests for students, and the use of Correlation coefficient to find out the degree The relationship between teachers 'performance and their students' grades. The results of the study revealed that there is an effect of the training program based on inquiry and problem solving on the teaching performance of science teachers. Also, the results revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the averages of scores in the pre and post-tests of problemsolving skills. The results indicated that there was a moderate and positive correlation between the improvement in the teaching performance of teachers in general and the students' scores in the post-test of problem-solving skills. ح The current study recommended the implementation of the training program based on the inquiry and problem-solving skills for science teachers in primary school grades, as well as strengthening cooperation between the Training and Educational Development Center at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the National Center for Educational Development at Qatar University |
