إن من أولويات خدمة المستودع الرقمي هي تجميع الأعمال الناتجة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس، الطلاب والطالبات، وضيوف جامعة قطر، وتوفير البيانات الوصفية اللازمة لاستكمال السجلات الببليوغرافية. توفير الوصول الحر للنص الكامل للمحتوى العلمي للجميع. والحفاظ على المحتوى العلمي في صيغة آمنة لضمان استمرارية الوصول على المدى البعيد.
